Dr. Abubakr Reda stands as a distinguished consultant orthodontist with a remarkable career spanning over 14 years, marked by extensive expertise in orthodontic treatment. His specialization lies in handling complex cases, including surgical, cleft lip, and palate patients, utilizing the latest advances and techniques in the field.
In 2007, Dr. Abubakr Reda earned his dental degree from Cairo University’s Faculty of Dentistry. He furthered his education at SCU, obtaining a master’s degree in orthodontics in 2015. Recognition of his proficiency came in the form of a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019. Driven by a commitment to continuous learning, he completed his Ph.D. at SCU in 2021.
Currently, he serves as a teaching staff member at the Faculty of Dentistry at Fayoum University, contributing to the education and development of future dental professionals. His active involvement extends to teaching postgraduate students in MOrth programs since 2016, and he holds the position of an instructor of clinical orthodontics at various training centers.
Dr. Abubakr Reda not only excels in clinical practice but also actively contributes to the scientific community. He shares his wealth of knowledge through the publication of papers in the orthodontic field and co-authorship of textbooks.
Notably, he co-authored a chapter on “Reverse-pull headgear or protraction facemask (PFM)” in the textbook “Planets of Orthodontics, Vol 4: Orthodontic appliances” (Almuzian, Khan H, Jaffery A, and Ahmed F). His dedication to advancing orthodontic knowledge is further demonstrated through his participation as a speaker at eight national and international conferences over the past three years. Dr. Abubakr Reda actively organizes workshops focusing on recent orthodontic technologies such as clear aligner therapy and digital orthodontics, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. In addition to his notable achievements, Dr. Abubakr Reda serves as the orthodontic consultant at Face Clinic, bringing his wealth of experience and passion for orthodontics to the vanguard of the clinic’s comprehensive dental services.
